![]() As you've discovered a lot of users are businesses with managed systems that use different office products and can't just install Excel on every machine to accomodate this. Why would you remove code that provides a core function such a thread / tapped hole features and rely on a third party application which is not included in your multi-thousand dollar software, and which a lot of people don't have available? How do you not have a library in your software package that can perform the basic functions you're relying on Excel for? This just seems insane to me. ![]() I really don't want to be rude, and I'm sure this has now become clear to Autodesk, but this sounds like it was a very careless decision. ![]() We don't use MS Office, we use Open Office. We just upgraded to 2016 and discovered this issue.
